Over the course of the year in Spanish One I learned the basics of Spanish starting from the very basics like how to ask someone what their name is and how to greet others. One of the main focuses of this year was learning story vocabulary. this is because as a final project we would have to write a story in Spanish using almost only words that we have learned the year in Spanish. One of the things form this year that I am the proudest of is my story for my final project this is because I think I refined it well and put a lot of effort into it to show what I have learned. One thing that I would still like to grow as I transition onto Spanish 2 and hopefully 3 Is how to correctly order words in a sentence because it is in a different sequence then you use in English.
Final story project
Video Project |
In this end-of-year project, we wrote and illustrated an original story using the vocabulary we learned throughout the year.
I enjoyed this project because I was able to show all of the different words and phrases i have learned so far this year. Also I could you the story vocab that we have been studyed to add details and help explain my story. |

In our video projects, we described our families and friends using the verbs “ser” (to be) and “tener” to have.
Something that I learned for this project is the different ways that you can describe someone and the different traits that a person can demonstrate. something that I am proud of in this project is the way that I was able to use most of the describing words and phrases that we learned through the year in this project. |
